The Arc de Triomphe was one of my favorite parts of the trip. The arc itself was fascinating and had small details that could be appreciated up close. If you aren’t scared of heights, I recommend climbing the stairs and going to the top to see the view of the whole city.

For those who would rather remain on the ground, at the base of the arc is the Champs Elysees, street of stores, restaurants, and cafes.

The Champs Elysees is the home to the only white McDonalds logo in the world

Last but not least is the Eiffel Tower. Whether you go visit during the day or at night, it will be an amazing sight. If you want another view of the city you can either take an elevator or the stairs to have a 360 view of the city of Paris.

What’s not to love about Paris, from the touristy spots like the Eiffel Tower to the historical parts all around the city, Paris has it all!

The Louvre Museum is the largest and probably most famous museum in the world. Home to priceless works of art like the Mona Lisa and The Venus de Milo.

Notre Dame, a medieval cathedral containing many sculptures and stained glass that still holds mass every week. Also, right beside the famous cathedral are crypts that give some background on Notre Dame.

Look out for the many monuments and memorials all around the city!

Look out for The Seine River that runs through Paris

Visiting Spain and Paris

In the summer of 2016, my parents and I took a backpacking trip to Spain. Whenever I visit Spain it’s always special to me because I used to live there as a little girl. It feels like home and as if I had never left. On our trip we visited Madrid, Toledo, Segovia, and Barcelona. After about 10 days, we went to Paris to finish off our trip.
